From Dawn till the Stars come out

Make face slightly older, add glasses

🍃🌷🍃

 here, I am,
without pause, till the stars
come out: my God my God
Imprint me on Your heart

I been here from dawn's chilly warm-
bitter sweet dark light: the News last night -
Kids beaten in the street
by batons with nails,

Yesterday's hole in my soul
runs breathless unable to say
what's to be said,
but here like this -

I gather my heart
as star ash
stammering
Lord, Imprint me on Yours:

..
on Me & us all,
(For our human heart messed,
we messed You
Sweet Lord Jesu);

we messed Your Love
with Hate....remind me
of how You need this conversation,
-how steep these Stakes.

So here I am, till the stars
come out: my God my God
Imprint me, imprint me
on Yours'

-for my heart lurks in the
Purdah too thick to part.
My heart will not dare look past the dark
...not on her own.

So help me, gentle Jesu -
even after the last star falls;
for it is my Gift to ask You :
"Dear my Lord Bless my People,

Remind Us of our Basic human skill:
Our perfect human need, Our Sacred human right:
-to talk, to talk, talk, talk, talk,
to You, You God. "
