October’s going already?
When I read Rebecca Brown’s book, “He came to set Captives free.” *in 2006, I found its contents hard to believe till the Book got a second read from me. And yes it is the scariest Book I’ve read because it exposes the myth that satan is far away in some distant hell of his own. It exposes the myth that I am untouchable, immune to all craft. The fine line between fun and hellfire has never been thinner.
And we’re back with the grinning Pumpkin ?

The summer I was finishing school I dressed in mascara smears and plastic fangs for everyone in our apartments.
It was just me trying to have a little fun with Nanna the middle aged nurse who wailed from loneliness, and the Bibis next door, who imagined they were being stalked 14×7. Neighbour Milly in pink lip gloss laughed till she cried, though not understanding how or why I even liked doing that (with my plastic teeth)…
Pranking people is still in my blood, I got that from Dad, and no harm meant whatsoever. Over the years I’ve mellowed, but it can sweeten the seriousness of everything. Theres unexpected laughter, some amount of Joy. My NJ has grown used to it, to the point that if something is genuinely missing, they all think Im the one hiding it.
Heeh. No I do not recommend the ‘fangs’ anymore… nothing ‘community building ‘ about it. Ive thought to go right back and apologise to those nice people I’ve scared with my jaw work. They ( the neighbours) were Sports, I must say….our tiny community was an innocent lot. We didnt know too much, and that was a blessing.
Even the words, ‘Black magic‘ were just 2 words people used casually ….yes?..
all of the voodoo mumbo jumbo, the lil rabbit foot charm, and stories of ghosts…seemed like fairy tales. There was little sense of ‘evil evil’. God was the Best, but satan was a harmless cardboard cut out with red triangle stuck in his tail.
This is a jaw dropping Best seller that unboxes Lucifer as Angel in white. It is recounted by an ex-witch, and bride of satan. If youre not used to such an account you’ll either enjoy it as great hard core fiction, or you’ll begin to suspect a true lie we’ve believed in :
that evil is ‘cute‘, ‘harmless, and is just Us, Humans, being kids‘, …it’s just ‘Us trying to have a Community spell of innocent fun...’
Hello. Wean. Get the Book, Yes it has a lot to say about Halloween and what’s going on in the world on a day like this, behind the scenes, beneath the sales of holiday gear and Pre winter shopping. Yes its the original graveyard party, theres the satanic altar with human sacrifice, all on a day like this one.
If youre wondering, do read on. These Pages below opened my eyes to the fact that Evil, is evidence to the Living God.
