Lord, In an earth
shooting each other, its hard to be
make Joy. Today I want that inner well-ness
that doesn't obey other people's badness. I want to live in an inner city ruled by the Prince of Peace

There seems to be no safe place on earth, and yet these days nudge us with Reminders that the first Christmas was far from a safe place at all. Looking up the real story of the birth of Jesus, I almost can’t believe how deadly time that was. And yet, God in His Love for us, chose that time to send His only Son
Simple? No. Beautiful? More scary. Overwhelming? Totally.
My emotion today, is : Overwhelmed. Why is there so much hatred, and love for assault? Why’d we much rather even try bring people down, rather than make peace?
Earth Emotion seems to be : cold. Chilly? Some of us share cakes, carols, goodwill cards, messages of kindness, new clothes, a gift? One can be overwhelmed, and yet push through. The only way I can do that, is taking from the Life of Jesus, who blest when cursed, forgave when abused.
How I love the story of the Little Manger. It is a HeartSong all by Itself. A Star, three Kings, Shepherds, two earthly human parents, a Child Who would grow to embody Perfect Love…
Thank You God, for showing me a way thru’ this Day. In 24 hours it will be gone. May I not lose a moment of it, giving in to the Herods and other Kill- Joys so associated with the events of yuletide.
