What if we all truly knew what happens when we pray?#Advent2026

#14(A Prayer- a-day)

(My) Dear God,

I’m getting to love blogging these Prayer-a-Day/s.

Today we went to a new church, all the Christmas bows were out, also a Tree with lights in it. Everyone was so kind, they all seemed to know You.

I’m thinking how You love everyone. So am doing my bit too….am praying for World Peace. And that we would let us be loved by You. Totally. Is that too ambitious a Prayer? Am I too small to pray such a big Prayer?

Say?

I don’t think anyone is “too small” for any size of prayer! Prayer is what each of us want it to be! Thanks for sharing!

Oh yes, what if we truly believed God would answer our prayers. Some of them are answered right away, some take years of petitioning the throne. What do you do when a prayer seems to go un-noticed or un-answered?/???

  I know how this feels 🥀
  For me its like a tiny seed I plant in my garden, and nothing happens. Till one day a sapling too weak to give me anything. Time goes by, no fruit.
  But the years of waiting, shape me in a whole new way.
  
  As I pray for our son’s healing, God has softened my heart to other people. I’m slower to judge, quicker to emote.
  And yes, He does answer. Sometimes in a Comfort, in an angel, in a Still Small Voice whispering a sentence I couldn’t have got, if was healed immediately.
  
  Yes, tho, this hurts like hell, as they say. If the hurting was meant to improve me, I try receive it with joy.
  I try ask strength to receive His will.
  
  This Reply is from a place that fully gets you, praying the deepest comfort and healing, resolution and Joy in the best possible way, my dear friend.
