“I’m not afraid of You..”

If I give you a boat, I’ll give you an ocean.” He said to me.

FMF Writers : ‘Capacity’.

I ask NJ what he’d do if someone gave him a boat. He said he’d go fishing! But Im thinking how awkward it’d be, right here with a boat. We’re in the middle of this silly (seeming) convo, and its our first born’s birthday. AND she’s releasing another stunner,”Covenant.”

Another spin around the sun to celebrate: they want to visit this place that NJ & I used to frequent yearrrrrs ago.

NJ’s- (dear husband,of 39 years) thinking on parking. Its the buzz centre of the city, not easy here negotiating busy bylanes. God had said, “If I give you a boat, I’ll give you an ocean.” Happy small sigh; you don’t want to displease Him, but ..an ocean?!

We get a vacant parking area opposite Sothkeys Store, then an angry cop shoos us off because a VIP traveler wants to zoom by, (& God said what He said and I’m a bunch of dust that best not mistreat His promise!)

There’s a new Xeshay~Forum: parking available. Now we’re guilty, do we say we are here for Xeshay, pretend to visit then scoot out to Shanjiba Rest& Dine? We park, pay. No one’s asking questions: its a swish Bloc, glass chrome and marble, soft clarinet in bgm. At the exit, polished granite leads to a network of pavements:

wizened woman sells lavender roses. Its an ocean full of humanity – tattooed man in gold bracelets, pierced chin, grins like a Madonna. Lady in a thousand wrinkles and jeans, wears blue hair.

Shanjiba is a place where NJ and I used to share a plate of noodles when we could afford it. We tell all to the Tibetian lady, she bows a smile. The music is mourning doves, bronze dragon on the wall blazes claw and jaw meant to be protective I guess. Dalai Llama has a message of peace on another wall. We take pictures, yes if God gives you a boat, He’ll give you an ocean:

this space isnt what it used to be, the black painted stairs 2flights up arrived at a thin matted uneven floor. The meal is wild spiced, red rices, plastic white rose on the table. How many miles have we done since we first got here? Look how we’ve been rearranged, we are five now, more aware of the Sixth Presence than ever before.

Vi’s 3 lavender roses remind me of the Trinity, in our Body, Soul &Mind. What a LOT we are, the miles in our feet, the million words we’ve done, Promises of Love received, from a heaven we might or might not see, in an earth that changes as we chat on.

Back home, Vi releases “Covenant” at 7 pm. I’ve never heard anything like it, or seen a Promise unfold, this close. There’s too many miracles to recount here, some arrived as 360 degree paradigm shifts! All this month I’m being reminded to trust Him, look forward, embrace new energy. Listening to her new song, the lyrics morph me into a small fire. If there’s something I should know here: it’s probably this –

He has made all things New. Flowers in strange places; am not startled, just stoked. Yes, we have the capacity to be unafraid, to soar. We humans have the innate ability to swim underground, or walk clouds, if we are with Him. (Alone, I am a wilting plastic rose!)

I’m listening to this one and love the line: “Nah I’m not afraid of You…”

We chat on in the night; I’m looking forward to all her blossoming in a world that’s not necessarily nice. There’s fear, yes, but a steeper trust in His mighty arm that’s brought us this far.

I’ve so much I’ve learned just watching her grow, tears flood these keys. Its stunning what the Lord’s done. The flood we thought’d sink our family was Him answering our need for more of Him, our prayer to bless these three lovelies He gifted us. Not glorifying suffering, its a fracture in the heart when it happens. But a breaking of Faith, like Dawn.

You lean back in the midnight, all is quiet and a Royal Gentleness touches you. You know you’re in the Presence of the Greatest. In the Presence of the Next level. Look deep in His Eyes, see what He sees in me, us, phew. Here demons go. Here there’s nothing to lose. Except fear.

Do listen. I wish us each the capacity to trek with Him. or maybe go Kingdom-fishing:

see what He does when we park with His heart.
