Today I stand in awe, I hear You in the beat of my Heart. I remember every…

I remember every Touch You ever touched me with, every Answer (even a’No’). I remember 2025 years ago in BethlehemTown and how that must’ve been: in a tiny Place, You shone for all Posterity. Here I am, me and my people – to worship You. For You live in praise of Your People. Blest we are, to carry Your Light in our eyes, Your Word in our lips, Your message of Love, a Lamp to our feet.

I hear the bells of heaven today : in accounts in the Gospels and the songs in each other. Yes, but most of all, You ringing out our names, every single one of us billions. For Your Great Love is like that. I pray that we Humanity will not shut You away. I pray we will open ourselves to Your Father ship. I pray we will believe that You sent Your only Son to die in our place that we will not perish but have Eternal Life.

Today and forever I celebrate You, Your tender mercies, new every morning, so great is Your faithfulness, to us Rebels. As this day goes, may the Light of the World dawn in us. May the Voice of Heaven ring in our ears so dulled by bad news. May we allow the delight of You, right into our hearts and hearths. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
