…brought me here: in the breath of my core, You oh Lord. What do I even know of the expanse of the sky alone; am gazing hangjaw at the magnitude of us each/ the sum total of humanity/ at the darkness that boasts its sole domain. It cringes, scorns, wrings itself at the Light, demanding proof, trying kill the Christ it denies; the more it darkens, the more it hastens to dawn.
