A Psalm for April

Orange lily flower with six petals and stamens in warm light

FMF Writers : Remnant

🌿

I've searched castles & dreams,
searched remnant rivers paved with
great ideas,

searched lilies in streams
that could not stop
drought;

when I saw You -
You turned my eyes
to little springs

You, looking in my want,
You shredding evil
- it fell like lightning.

Ah Lord God -

Your Waters breathe-
gentle pastures green,
They recreate me,

Lord my God,

Syllables of You
perfect my
imperfection:

my valleys of death
fear no evil, Your
Love is Light-

It pours a table
before my
enemies:

- a Healing that unlocks my palms
in Yours! Goodness & Mercy,
following me...

Tomorrow, Now. You're my House, my heart, the song I sing in the skin
of remnant days.

    Wonderful Post and Words…
It feels like resting instead of striving.
God meets us in the small, quiet places and makes us whole there.
That kind of love changes everything.
