Not be a “RUDE- olph” please

If there’s one thing I find hard to tolerate, it is a grown person not being Polite to a child… ( or anyone for that matter). Jesus was partial to little ones I think. “Do not stop them from coming to Me,” He told His disciples.

As a parent I can’t say I’ve not lost my cool with the children. But shaming them is a whole different level of mental trouble.

With all my heart I pray we as a human race will protect our young from “rudeolphs’ as our girls call people with little or zero manners.

Today we watched re- run of Chosen’s last Season and I’m.struck by the words of Jesus, even under duress, how He crafted wisdom with the need to convey an instruction.

May I please not get so “religious” I forget to be like the very One Who taught us about loving others as we love ourselves. That’s a huge order. Help me dear God. Please help me be Polite to others, and even myself.

(I truly believe being polite to myself too, can take some of the edge off negavity!)
