March whispers, “There will be more than Peace..”

13th day of Lent’s 40

🌱✝️🌿

…there will be Peace that surpasses human understanding; beyond this I cannot know what to ask.

Sacred Verse says there will be rumors and there will be wars. We all know there will be Life and there will be Death

there will be babies gone and old men living. There will be bleeding suns and the rain of stars. There are things we know, and things we cannot.

And that the Lines of Control between those hemispheres will run thin or thick. There will be war angels of mercy with bandaid &

bowls of survival for the rich and the poor alike. We know there will be Times of a Hate like we do not want

and Times of a Love we once mocked, but It will be here, like never before in the Histories of Human Adaptation to Change

Yay or Nay, we will bend our knees

to Belief or Disbelief, to princes of war or to Peace. And the day will be here soon, or now already, when we agree to no substitute for True Love:

the Kind that lays His Life down for humans. Watching Jesus brought me here, with no way to turn my thorny thoughts, to His Peace :

~ not without attitudes that are Forgiveness. No, there is nothing of that without Him. Not with Him.

"Greater Love has no one than this, than the One Who laid down His Life for you and me. "(adapted from the Bible for everyday reading).

These words feel heavy, but also full of hope.

There will always be things we cannot understand. War and peace. Life and death. Joy and deep loss. The world shifts, and we feel small in it.

But God promises a peace beyond understanding. Not because everything makes sense, but because He is steady when nothing else is.

    1. Absolutely. I know, yes.

& It hurts to think so many leave this earth each hour/ day and they mayn’t know God. We pass by at least a thousand here, and I’m thinking : how tell them Jesus loves them?

      prayer works I know.

The crimes of war, its fatalities are too many to count. We hear of folks who’ve met Jesus, ( my own g.great grandpa) and knew Him. Praying He reaches all, via people or directly.

praying the kind of peace that comes from knowing the earth will know Him.

  4. Beautiful. And divine.
I thought lent doesn’t count Sundays and Ash Wednesday. Today I’m in my 10th day of Lent. Am I doing it all wrong?

    1. Hi Judeitakali, good to see you, thank you for kind words. I guess we’re counting from Feb18th. Unsure about your question. Officially the Calender starts a count with Ash wednesday if am not mistaken, this, for common reference. What does it matter though really.
Glad you’re in! Here on homefront, we normally use this time as a Break, introspective/ healing/ prayer/ meditative, what ever He asks.

Personally, or as a community: both are really both detox, as well as empowering.
