Why Blogging is My Best Form of Communication

🌿

🌿Here there are no caste wars, there are bragging rights, here you yell, sulk, mope, rave, pray, Atheist & Psalmist share pew & podium. There aren’t Dislike buttons.

My best online communication : Blogging!

🌿The rules are simple. You’re free to not comment. Here I’ve met some of the best, and here I’m learning Humility, Guts, Creativity, Humor, Grace. Here too, I see myself a little more clear each day, even if sometimes it is peering thru a glass darkly. One day we will meet the Creator of all our Spaces and till then I’m soundly reminded by Him not to even try imagine I’m here by merit.

I love the way a Blog is personal but there are no demands by an Editor or even a reading community. Here you ramble, pause, read voraciously, take a break. Post a Pic. A poem. A long read. A thought. You might even tear up. Might even smile, laugh out loud. Here you are every Tense you ever were or might be. Here you might heal, die a little, face a sneer, or Blessing.

If you’ve read this far, thank you. I’ve resolved to personally thank God for everyone on the Planet. Just imagine – 7+billion of us, first, second, third and fourth fifth worlds, all hurtling in Space, in our little roofs and footwear, congregating with galaxies and meteor parades. The thought drives me dizzy but there it is. Gravity, whatever the truth is – there’s nothing really beneath us, except the Everlasting Arms of God. You can disagree, sure. It won’t take away His Arms. The thought also grounds me. It makes for Writing …

So, yes I love Blogging best in my world of online Chatter. Just maybe God created it for folks like me who aren’t highly ambitious about writing a fat novel (I keep threatening to ). He made it for people who can create a space without walls, just little windows that can look in on each others’ impressions, each others’ paragraphs, punctuation, prompts, headers. laughter, mutters…it is a healing all by itself. I’m pretty certain God has a Dept called Blogosphere, as serious as Atmosphere – a place where some Breathe, Post their Shadows, Edit / delete error, update smiles…

2026. Will there be Resolutions? I do not trust those things. Prefer small steps in the right direction, with practical gates and front door.

But we’re talking about Communication, and online, blogging. and why this works for me. Today I wanted to look at Resolutions, but would like to pray a Para –

“Dear God,

If there’s going to be a New Year Resolution for me let it be that we as the Human Race are touched deeply by things we cannot see but feel: oh no no not hatred, but Love. The Kind that loves our neighbour. Touched by not war, but Peace. Please. In Jesu’s name I pray, because no one else died for me, nor rose from the grave, nor speaks, to me the way You do. This Year help me resolve to pray meaningful prayers, that are useful too.

Amen.”

I’d love a bowl of buttery joycorn! 👇🏼

  4. This felt less like an article and more like an open room with the lights on.

You named something rare here — a space where words aren’t auditioning, where faith and doubt don’t compete, and where presence matters more than polish. I especially loved the image of blogs as “windows without walls.”

Thank you for holding this space so gently and honestly. It reminded me why blogging still matters — not as noise, but as shelter.

    1. Dear Livora,
Am framing this in my Blog-head and will not forget the gold here.
      ✨Where words arent auditioned
      ✨Where Faith & Doubt don’t compete
✨Where presence matters more than polish
✨&esp❣️ where blogs are windows without walls…

      • holding a space gentle, honest, not noise but a shelter. The unseen unwrit commandments of Blogging👑

Thank you so much for words I won’t forget. Much love,
      Rayla.

    1. So glad you noticed my hedgehog mascot, Neeraj (Picture)! It was that, right? 😀

(My daughter asks why I love hedgies – I’m not sure:))

      1. I just looked them up and found some facts:

        1. Hedgehogs need Glasses (like me) but try and make up with other skills
        2. They ‘anoint’ themselves😯 (the confidence! I need some of that)
        3. They can look like wee fire but harmless.
        4. They’re getting rare( killed accidentally?)

  5. This feels so honest and comforting to read. You’ve put into words what many of us feel but struggle to explain — that blogging can be a safe, soulful place to just be. Thank you for sharing something so personal and true.🌷

    1. Yay,Amen. “..a soulful place to just be…” Yes I’ve struggled some, too. Been convicted occasionally for not being understood.😅 Uff, hallelujah, take pinches of soro with deep joy❣️
Thank you for being here and saying. Amazed at your work too (you posted every single day for 900 days? How did you do that?)

Kudos, God bless and many happy returns! Its a feat and a wonder, to record your heart no matter what.
Delighted that you relate. God bless you plenty this 2026

    2. Johnbritto, “a safe, soulful place to just be” is such a beautiful way to put it.
Your words echo the heart of this piece — that sometimes the greatest gift a space offers is permission to exist without performance. Thank you for naming that so simply and kindly.

      1. Thank you so much for this thoughtful response. I really appreciate how you expanded on that idea — “permission to exist without performance” captures it perfectly. Your words added even more depth and kindness to the conversation, and I’m grateful you shared them.

    2. G.W., I smiled reading this.

Sometimes encouragement doesn’t need analysis or long explanations — it just needs to land with warmth. Your response feels exactly like the kind of generosity this post is celebrating.

    1. Zandrite, absolutely fantastic to hear you liked this one – written somewhere in our midnight here, so good you got this. It is impossibly easy to mis- communicate. (is that a word?) Then there’s auto edit, that messed a sentence. Glad you in mercy, ignored that one. 😅

Thanks for your positivity too. Hugs from a psalmist with a sore throat. Have a blessed up year, every minute.

    2. Zandrite, this comment quietly proves one of the strongest points in the post.

A space where appreciation can be shared across differences — without erasing them — is something rare and valuable. Thank you for bringing that spirit into the conversation.

Amen 🙌 I Love this…. Every word… You’ve captured exactly why blogging feels so different. So human, so grace-filled, so free. A space without walls, without judgment, where voices breathe and souls show up as they are. I love how you wove faith, wonder, humility, and honesty together here. It really does feel like holy ground at times, held by the Everlasting Arms.

Thank you for this reminder of why words still matter, and why love, quiet, unseen, and deeply felt, always wins.

    1. Gary, a “Like” & smiling Comment from one like you is such a Blessing. I always look to read your work, it inspires and builds Faith esp.when am sagging. ’25 was a beautiful year yet ragged with some pain. Your Posts forever make one feel we can do this: Press on. God has pointed to the Book of Phillipians for this year. Noel’s Hinge verse – “I press on to lay hold of that for which Christ lays hold of me…” Phil 3:12.

      & so many more gems.

Your smaller blog? Could you help me with links, here, if ok to ask? God hold you and family in His care. Thank you so much for your blog presence. 🎶🌿🌏🌱🎶

  10. Amen and amen. I felt the call to write a blog and I feared angry criticism, but now, after saying yes to God, I find there is so little of that kind of thing. And I like the idea of no dislike button. Thank you for sharing this. It touched my heart.
