The Silent Prayer

"My Father,
I have no words today
gratitude, yes, and some more things
But can find no proper words to say it for
You to get what I'm saying...."

He tells me of my Ma's threads
under a button; securing
hook, hem, darned collar unseen, sewed ripped jean,
blanket, unseen thread fixed sock &
scarf, in silent tread...
"Lean on Me," He says in the Stillness
between us. If it is dusk here,
it is dawn on the other side.
Oh Sweet my Lord God just the thought
of You in my little room ...
just the thought that You read this
just the thought that You get this,
You hold all I may be responsible for
it holds me together in a Seaming-
I know is there.

The Silent Prayer
5 pm, light filters in warm silence. No chilly winds today, just a breeze full of lit up butterflies. Burning yellow wings. December began with a Prayer a day, so I’ve been posting that in the day’s Post. As well as my joy to be part of “Advent2025“
What is it, to celebrate Christ ? We talk about Him in socially correct ways. We honor traditional recipes and Christmas tree. But to be His brand Ambassadors isn’t just a yearly getogether. Some of us have ‘Grinch‘ to help with festivities. Mannequins don purple tinsel. Orion Mall nearby will have its mega Christmas Tree and decked Elephant. Culture Gurus will synthesize rhythms and cuisine to beat out Christmas vibes. Churches sport Santa Hats, Ca-rollers must have a Santa and collection box…
I’m shuddering…needing to apologize to someone, maybe myself; um its easy to point at another.
May the true Essence of this Season be ours. In the Stillness may the Sweet satisfaction of the Real Savior be ours. So I’m asking Him what He’d like for me to do, for Him, with Him. My husband Nj always says, “Careful when you Ask God for something, He’ll do it. Are you ready?”
