Dear God,
Teach me Your Creativity
How You make leaves glow
in billion shades of brown green
yellow red white. Dear God, as a
midnight clear fills with star mist, teach
me how to associate creativity, prayer
and social existence in this great big
Planet too too wide to fit right
into. I need You. Like never
before.

December is looking good so far. We’re in the 7th day of our 31 days of Reflective Prayers. And I do not think Prayers were meant to be formal shop counters, not even in the name of Jesus, or Christmas. My Nj’s name is Noel. Much to the joy of a recent meet with a French man, “Ah Noel, means Christmas!” he said. Not necesaarily any follower of Faiths, he likes the aspect of a celebration. End of that conversation, we’re thinking we have a painting to give him, a Lord’s Supper painting – he’s a restauranteer. I haven’t painted in months. A skill like that must never be put to rust. Noel perks up. He loves our visits to Art wood, the supply store near us. Loves when I’m all turpentine and aquamarine blue. (He paints in acrylic, sunrise hues).
So for today’s WP prompt : that’s my skill, recently picked up again.
But the main one, is our 31 days of exploring a Vineyard of Convos with God. If you check the past 6 posts here, you’ll get an idea. I love talking to God. It is cleansing….reading His Word, talking to Him. Then you go paint and a new world spins your Everyday.
Nj is a multitasker, the Silent force that pushes me too to reach higher, deeper – even on a day like this one, where we’re each recovering from nasty colds, coughs. Some people’s great skills also cover Encouragement. Grateful.
I wish you well.

have a great week ahead. Stay safe, pray, meet my Jesus. He loves you.
