My wilder -ness

Wild Post prompted by animal & other Instincts.

Got this Beauty today at Sunrise Mart

Look out our window sill : red Bulbul, resident peacock in Govt ‘forest’ next door, cows & their crane riding piggyback, nesting hawk, one owl, kingfisher, hoonking crow pheasant, hippie dog,

am rambling like a heart that beats with good news in bad days. Its that Time of year when gentle things are sposed to happen and heart turns milsh:

last December we were with angioplasty for my husband NJ who drove to hospital with ‘mild discomfort’ in throat. The cardiac blocks were bad but Fortis Hosp. and Dr.R., were good brothers on a tough day. The Hospital did Crib and Christmas decor, Attendants were angels in the dark, no exaggeration. We managed to get a bed just on time; uh hadnt we got used to evil?! This was unusual.

I pay tribute to also the super soft blanket PJo gave me 3.45am as he drove into town: the stubborn prayers of Sij, M&M, Je&S who each happened to be at nearbyCarol meet/Getogether ( +others).

It was Serial- Miracles you cannot put down to coincidence. Esp the Joy in my NJ as they got him out the Cat.Lab; as if all that were sheer Goodies.

tiny fur Reminders : that Man’s Primal Instinct
is the Hunt for Eternity

🌍

I comb Mars, clone, scrape skies for proof of human superiority, then run like ostrich and burrow in the sand at Supernaturality. I do not get high frequencies in my ear, nor eagle eyes at the sun, so its a wild Guess at what dogs and eagles see/ know: or how birds
scatter in an earthquake, or know seasons, and migrate …

🌍
WE OWN THE FANTASTIC IN OUR SKULLS
BUT LIVE IN A VACCINED PERSPECTIVE
OF THE UNSEEN
Says Google.

Science Texts may have baptised me👉🏼 Animal; but would even a wee Percent of Me play guess – guess at how many shades of Color there are?

🌿

I might soon call ‘human Intuition’ Extinct.
By then, the Great Thinkers will be the hooves of the field. That for me describes the Emotional Intelligence of my wild self, my carnivores Self tearing down anyone else that could be food,
  • Have you met anyone that could not feel anything for another human being? I know at least three : utterly lawless, zero limits to what they say/ do. We might forgive a cheetah for eating up someone, but we have grown deadly canine teeth we gift wrap with ‘common sense’

if I could be one, I’d choose Deer* for its fine feet. “Hind’s feet”. Swift sure footed, even in slippery or rough route –

the meeting Place of soul and God.

Last year around this time, waiting all night into dawn, I watched a young widow, her voice was one long soft sound, not even human. I could not pray. Back home, kind neighbor SV ferried our girls&son 12 midnight and back, again 7 am working around his own meetings and home. That dawn I was taken by a Peace and energy that to this day shocks me. For a quick moment when the first Doc told me NJ had not more than 45 mins to live – my insides began to fall. Without asking me, my two legs ran up & down 3 floors when elevators weren’t free.

December settles exactly like it is- the crust of a terrific cake. What a year it has been besides the whole Earth halving as if we were God. We erase Eden, roll dice with serpents and cuss away our own sweetness

dunno how to conclude this: must comb hair, dress up for a day out there among my jungles of Self

& things that separate Beauty from Beast.

  1. We are born wild but when we cast about we eventually find our way to the Christ….

  2. I know the wild in me must be tethered to the cross. So good, so descriptive. Momentarily tame today I am.
