The Speechless Prayer

5/40 L.✝️

Here lean, rest.
Who said all we have, are words?
Who says all we need is healing?
Sometimes there is little comfort in fulfillment,
in the quenching of dreams
in the silenced things-

oh sometimes the Waiting is the sweetest prayer: the invisible moment, an answer all by itself. Here rest, my soul, my soul, arrest defense.
Here, please not need to smile, act pretty. Let down your artillery, your barricade, your camouflage

here just rest, lean, be, breathe, allow Grace to do what Grace alone can do. Here listen. Sometimes the Love of God speaks, and often He heals, or not. But always, He loves. Always He waits for us
to just be. With Him. No other agenda. Just lean, speechless...

while He crashes all our boundaries, our bans, our invisibility, our iron curtains, our barbed wire. What you cannot see, sees you. Sees me. What we cannot hear hears us. What we may not feel, feels us.
Soul, here lean, rest, just be, with Him, just be.

He took your Cross. He took our Cross.
